TheLawStore.com.au, owner of Livesign, announced on 16 August that industry influencer Lara Paholski will be stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer bringing her extensive experience and networks within the Australian legal, property and financial industry to the role.
TheLawStore.com.au is a leading digital product house providing simplified legal solutions with their headline product being Livesign which connects digital document signing with secure identity verification.
With more than 20 years’ industry experience, working in corporate, government and professional services, Lara is well-known in the legal and property technology sectors. In 2014, she co-founded and upscaled digital verification of identity company IDSecure which was sold to GlobalX (now Dye & Durham) in 2017.
Over the past 12 months, Lara has been working as the Director of Industry Partnerships for Galilee Solicitors, one of the original investors in TheLawStore.com.au.
Stepping into the CEO role, Lara will succeed Ian Hendey. Ian will remain with the firm as a Non-Executive Director to help oversee its next growth stage. Ian was instrumental in driving the launch of thelawstore.com.au in Australia, supporting its growth from the ground up since 2020.
TheLawStore.com.au Group Chair Craig Manson said that the Board is delighted with Lara’s appointment as it enters a new phase with a focus on rapid expansion to capitalise on its early growth.
“Since joining us a year ago, Lara has had a significant impact across the Group with the opportunities that she has created and executed across all levels of the organisation in the short time that she’s been with us,” Mr Manson said.
“Lara has outstanding people skills and an unparalleled ability to build expansive and genuine relationships, resulting in an unmatched professional network. With her exceptional leadership experience, Lara demonstrates a tenacious commitment to drive the critical business outcomes every tech company needs to thrive.”
Thelawstore.com.au has exciting plans for the future, as it continues to build its product offering and customer base. Also included in these plans is relationship building across the industry, which will include Livesign’s presence as the Platinum Sponsor of the 2022 Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA) Convention taking place in September on the Gold Coast.
