Simon has over 15 years’ experience in dispute resolution, with a focus on complex banking and property disputes. Clients look to Simon for his unwavering focus on their commercial objectives, practical approach and depth of knowledge. Simon leads the litigation practice and is also responsible for the firm’s professional development program. Simon holds degrees in law and arts from the University of Sydney.
A devoted father, Simon is also a student of Iyengar yoga and self-confessed MAMIL. Simon joined the firm as Partner in December 2015 and is based in Sydney.

Lara’s appointment to Group CEO of Galilee follows a variety of executive roles over 20+ years which has seen her leading teams and specialising in corporate communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement across the private and public sectors, and business growth including co-founding a digital identity company a decade ago, and subsequently scaling the company.
Lara’s passion for people and her ability to build and maintain relationships that drive continued success, has seen her build an extensive professional network across the financial, legal, proptech and technology sectors.
She is also a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion and leadership, and supporting teams and businesses to achieve success.
Lara holds a degree in Communication Studies from the University of South Australia.
Cordell is a Partner at Galilee Solicitors, joining the firm in April 2015.
Cordell has extensive experience in banking & finance law, working previously as a Partner in a Top 10 national law firm, where he specialised in mortgage law and managed the delivery of outsourced legal services to major banks.
He has also worked closely with financial institutions and regulatory bodies as the mortgage industry has tackled the evolution of e-conveyancing nationally.
Cordell holds an Honours law degree from Bond University.
Cordell’s focus is client relationships, specialising in legal operations, digital signing, and technology innovation.
